Originally a sea cadet From the Wembley Group, In the Band as a Bugler, Joine Royal Navy 1945. shipped to the far east 1945 Joine H>M>S>Recruit Minesweeper,.Did sweeping in the Malacca Straights.Also Indonesia Including .Borneo Java and surrounding Areas.Also Singapore .On shore in Barracks Singapore and Jahore Beru, Joined HMS Finisterre in Singapore,Toured the Far east in Many Locations showing the flag,Came home in 1947 was put ashore in barracks for a while and then put back on the Finnisterre did a tour of the south coast of u.k. and then demobbed in Jan 48 .Then ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ to Noth Wembley ,to work for a living.Now in Canada as from 1966 .Retired from work at 65,Now in Langley B.C. with Daughter and grandkids nearby also a brother not far away. Still have relatives in U.K. But Grand Kids only. First wife passed on Now married to a Philiippine woman for over 25 years and at 78 i feel fine . John D Morley.
