Scottish Borders Council Museum Service (Selkirk & Galashiels) created an exhibition 'Galashiels' ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Front' which was displayed in the town's Library. It included wartime objects, photographs, games and activities. The aim of the exhibition was to 'get people thinking' - and write down or tell us their experiences of World War II. We have had contributions from all over the Borders as well as Galashiels, which has given the project greater diversity and shows how interested people have been in recording their memories.
