Hello. Circegirl here, a raw new person.

My Dad was a conchie in WW2, and did time in the infamous Winson Green prison. He died when I was 14 years old, (he was 61) and he never spoke much about his conchie days. I'm hoping to learn more about the era, the prison, and other conchies, without upsetting those who saw or whose parents saw active service.
I just want to know more about my dad. All I can remember is him mentioning sewing mailbags, something about the cat and mouse business, and a thorough distrust of any form of authority.

any info would be great. I would like to access his prison records, but don't know how to do it.

thanks, Circ.
