I joined the 27th Lancers stationed at Pickering Yorkshire from the Royal Armoured Corps training
regiment at Warminster.
My overseas destinations were Egypt,Palestine,Lebanon,Syria,Turkish border,Italy and Austria.
Regiment disbanded August 1945 joined 12th Royal Lancers until demobbed September 1946.
