I lived in Lee Road, Leamington Spa, with my mother and father, Hazel and Jack Litherland.
I was four at the time of the Coventry Blitz. Our neighbourhood had its own air raid shelter built from subscriptions. We were in this shelter on the night of the blitz which I have described in my story and two poems submitted to the People's War archive. Another child I remember was Josie Middleton and her father George Middleton. They had a shop in Lee Road.
