Investigation interest started with a member of the Fourth County of London Yeomanry(Sharpshooters), which soon took over as a passion to explain certain aspects of the Battle of Villers-Bocage.It has grown into a very large project, with enquiries from all over the world due to my having approached so many people for information.
(I have to say, that due to the actions of one person who 'stole' some specific information and copies of unique war art for a book,I only release general information).(Being a German Government official, he should have known better).
The second line of interest was the history of the village of Cookham in Berkshire and the life of Sir Stanley Spencer. Along with my mother, who was born on the same day as Sir Stanley,(less 20 years), we have provided interviews and photographs for many authors and the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ on both subjects. (Last year).
I am still searching for any information concerning Villers Bocage. (Not for a book, but to be included in a private record for the family of the man investigated ).
