My name is Sue Kirk my mum was Ivy Lambert and lived in the area around Armley Jail with her family. He mother's name was Mary Lambert and she had a large catholic family of 4 boys and 3 girls.

I have been interested in history for a number of years now but I believe the contribution our families made to our freedom is immense. I wanted to add my tale to some of the others I have heard. It is both an ordinary tale and an extraordinary tale with some funny and not so funny moments. I think it reflects many people's lives in this area.
