Most of my contributions will have been written by my father, Wilfred Basil Dent, before his death last year. He was a Line Mechanic in the Royal Signals and wrote in detail abouth his training and time up to D-Day, D-Day itself and the Potsdam conference, all of which I hope to put onto this site, starting with D-Day.

What he never finished, however, was the part about the journey from France, through the Falaise?Gap, and Belgium to Berlin. He was often sent out of his section, 31 TM, to other units but I have only fragments of his memories about this period. Can anyone help?
