I was born in Hailsham Sussex 1932, lived there till 1946,then moved to Hellingly & Wartling, then entered the Merchant navy service.
Now retired from 40 years service in Railways.
Member of United Reform Church Burgess Hill, where I spend a lot of time tending the gardens etc at the church, in addition to working as a volunteer on the Bluebell Railway.
My other occupation is Family History, back to 1750 at this time.
