Please can any one help me i am looking or trying to find out about my farthers service history we know he was in the Navy we belive he joined the Royal Navel Commandos possible 47th.He was taken out on d-day with a bullet to the leg was recoverd we belive he whent out to Australia and carried on fighting out there 6months after the war ended cleaning up the japs untill the atom bomb was dropped so please if any one new him or fought with him please can you contact me my email address is cover24hour@yahoo.co.uk and my fathers name was Ronald Fawcett Devanney unfortunatly my father passed away this year after a very long fight with illness.
