This page contains the war memories of my father Joe Catt, who was a private in the 5th Cinque Ports Batallion of the Royal Sussex Regiment (HQ Company Signal Platoon) from 1939-45.
The memories here are an extract from his book entitled "A Trilogy In One", written for his family some years ago.
He is still very much alive and kicking, and would appreciate hearing from anyone who knew him or shared his experiences.
