In conjunction with Age Concern, Swindon College held a series of sessions at several venues around the Swindon area.
The main aim of these sessions was to enable people who may not have access to a computer, or for various reasons such as mobility problems, could not get to a place to access the Internet or for those who had no keyboard skills whatsoever and therefore needed help in recording their stories.
None of these contributors were able to register for the website, and they either hand wrote their memories, or told them so that they could be recorded on a laptop.
With the consent of these contributors, the stories have been transferred to this group account
