I am Vivienne Clarke, Charlotte Chesser's Grandaughter and I wrote this article from my Grandmother's memoirs, with contributions from my Father, Ronnie Chesser and Aunts Sylvia Rogan and Shirley Hartley.

My grandmother was born Charlotte Greenshields and lived in the Shoreditch area of London. She had many brothers and sisters.
She married Thomas (Tommy) Chesser who was also from a large family.
After they were evacuated during the war, family ties were broken.

The family tree has many missing branches and I would appreciate any information regarding the London Chessers or Greenshields.
