On Thursday November 14 1940,I walked home from school never to return; the Luftwaffe saw to that.
On the Friday morning my parents evacuated us to Royal Leamington Spa.
Having graduated with a BA(Hons), June 2002,I am now engaged on a MA by research. My BA dissertation was based on the Citizens War,covering my experiences in the blitz, and the discrimination experienced with the move to a new town.
I would like to hear from any one who actually experienced evacuation from their school/home, the rejection, or otherwise of the move, and how their new piers took to them. I was bullied by my school chums.
Thanks
Ronald Malone.
