I was born in 1919,in a small mid wales village Caersws Powys. Took the Kings shilling in 1938, serving in Gibralter at the outbreak of WW2.Transferred to British Expeditionary Forces, took part in the Battle of Arras Belguem, then Dunkirk, and later in the Guards Armoured Division in Normandy etc. Discharged after serving 8years and 88 days. I am interested in W.W.1 particularly in respect of underage soldiers who served.,particularly those court marshalled and shot for desertion etc.
Spend my time writing have 2 books published and a 3rd almost ready. My poetry has been published in some 100 or so anthologies. Book 1. The cup and Saucer Tree, tells of my early life and war years. Book 2 AField of Red Poppies, War Poems.
