Nelson Street School, Norwich.
I would like to hear from any one who can remember the demise of Nelson Street School. Also any information about the rise and fall of the Henderson and Gurney School on Bowthorpe Road.
I have been writing a History on the events of the night our School in Nelson St was destroyed. Is there anybody out there with memories of that night and of those two terrible nights in April 1942.
Coupled with this is the Story of the sterling work which was done by the Boy Scouts, both with the Messenger Service and the Morrison Shelter Erection Service a bit later on.
