As I said in my tale of "The Tale of Two Pistols"I was lucky enough to be selected as one of the first six officers for No:2Commando which in turn became 11 SAS, and then 1st Parachute Regiment. I was sacked from there for being too independent, joined 12 Commando, took part in many raids on occupied Europe's coast, was in France at D-11. Joined SOE was British Liason Officer 5th Partisan Brigade in Bosnia, joined Special Boat Service under Col David Sutherland. After end of war was sent by Army to Jesus College Cambridge to learn Russian, then had some further jobs of an intelligence nature retired from Army, with rank of Major and MC and Bar then managed a dress factory till its demise. After had a hotel and leisure centre in Mid Wales, sold it and lived in Donega, Republic of Ireland where I started a fish farm, now one of biggest in Ireland. On the death of my wife, retired to Limavady Co Londonderry, where I write the odd story.
