I was born in 1934 and lived in the Holbrooks area of Coventry during WW2. Among the street names where I lived were Hen Lane and my father (Harry BECK) worked at Alfred Herberts. My mother was Doris (nee BONSOR) and my sisters were Margaret Jean (known as Jean and Dorothy. My grandparents were Harold and Hariett BONSOR (nee ORTON)and they lived at Holdsworth Crescent, Nunts Park. He was a retired Deputy from Keresley Colliery. I would be delighted to hear from anyone who knew the area at the same time.
