my name is john thomas william hobden, the only child of thomas and caraline hobden, i was born in royal tonbrige wells , kent ,on the 25th of july 1933,my father was head gardener and gamekeeper at brantrige forest farm, near the village of balcombe, during the second world war he served in the nat, fire service, in london, i went to school at handcross primary, and at haywards heath secondary, i played cricket and football for handcross and later for three bridges,i worked for the metal box co, till 1969, when myself and my family immigrated to vancouver, canada, i now reside on vancouver island, in a town called nanaimo,and i ;am a willower, living on my own, i have four children and eight grand children, i have a war story about a doodle bug
