As the years pass I think it very important for
future generations to have some knowledge of the
sacrifice and strong sense of survival that those
of my generation our parents and families developed and endured through the six years of the second world war.

That is my reason for contacting this web-site and contributing my personal experience as remembered through the memories of a ten-year old
child, experiences that in fact have served me and countless others in very good stead in the years that followed.
