My name is Bob Bullen I joined the RAF July 1942 as a WOP and started my initial training at Blackpool where I did Wop training above a garage and drill in Stanley Park, I was billetted in a house in Hull St or Road. Finished at Blackpool about December and went to Madley to finish. Left there about April 1943 and was posted to Takoradi on the Gold Coast, transferred from there for two or three months to Abijan on the Ivory Coast. From there was posted back to UK in August 1944 and went to Tallbeny Wales from there to RAF Uxbridge to start a new unit called CAC. from there to Perronporth, Cornwall and from there to Ibsley near Ringwood to join MSU. went to Berlin August 1945 to Big Three conference attended by Churchill, Stalin and Truman. only stayed there for about 2 months was at Gatow. Came back to Ibsley and from there to Chedburgh, Suffolk. Posted to Evere, Brussels and then Farge, near Breman Germany. Demobbed from there in AUG 1946
