Just a short note to introduce myself. I'm currently living in London, although I'm originally from Lancashire (hence the user name). When I heard about the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ project I wanted to get involved mainly because of all the interesting stories my grandma used to tell me about the war years. I also recently dug up an old diary of mine, written as part of a school project about life during the war, that my grandma and parents had contributed greatly to. That made me realise just how little I actually had written down about their lives, even though so many of their stories were in my head. Therefore an opportunity to rectify this has just presented itself! I hope you enjoy reading the following story.
