My dad was in the royal artillery but i don,t know what division or details . Does anyone know of a Harry Clark who served with him.? Harry went to work on a farm near Oban after the war and we went to stay with his family for a holiday when we were children and had a wonderful time. My dad and Harry kept in touch for many years and i know Harry went to live in Northampton in the seventies.

My dad did boxing in the army and was a very good amateur after the war. A local boxing promoter tried to persuade him to turn professional but my mother Mary was not in favour of it so he declined.

He died in 2001.
