My Father, James Houston, served during the Second World War as Medical Officer with the rank of Captain. He spoke little about the War but in his infrequent references remembered the difficulties of Dunkirk and Burma.

After the War he returned to Birmingham where he practised for many years as a GP.

I am trying to find out a little more about the realities experienced by him and his Regiment. Perhaps there are others still alive who may have been in the Regiment and remembered him or whose families who have heard stories about the Regiment's experiences.
