This is the personal page of Bransholme Community Arts Enterprise.
We recently conducted a project with older people from Bransholme, focussing on the fashions of 1930's & 40's Britain. We decided to work with an artist to make hats that reflected this period.
The results were amazing and the ladies we worked with, now offer their time to help other visitors to the centre to pass on their new skills.
Some of the stories we have added to the site show the ladies wearing the hats they made as well as their own stories of WW2.
