My name is Carole and I am a part - time writer.
I am very interested in all aspects of History and want to get more information about child evacuees, especially those who were sent abroad.
I would be very interested in hearing from anybody,who actually was affected, or anybody who knows of someone who was sent abroad and still keeps in touch.
I am especially interested in the 2 ships which were torpedoed the Volendam ( I think) and the Benares at the beginning of the blitz.
