I live in Hertfordshire and am married with two grown up children, a boy and a girl. I am in my fifties and have been interested in WW2 for as long as I can remember. I think it was my late father telling me a bit about his army experiences, when I was a boy. Also, my late mother lost a brother in 1945. He was in Bomber Command as a gunner. I am named after him. Nobody knew what had happened to him until I researched it and found out where he was buried, in France. I visited his grave in 1997.

I have accumulated some knowledge, particularly about RAF Bomber Command during the war, and am happy to share it, and would like to make contact with anyone with similar interests. I am an honorary member of 101 Squadron Association RAF.
