I have placed this on the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ site as I want to ensure that the entries in Dad's diary are retained for posterity and family history purposes. It is also an extremely personal take on the war, especially, I find, the list of equipment Dad needed when embarking from Clyde, headed for North Africa, especially needing his Andrews Liver Salts and the ball of string!

If anyone has any similar recollections, or can add anything to the diary entries to explain or elaborate on any of the entries or abbreviations, I would be dlighted to hear from you

Many regards,

Dave.
