My gandson, Kiran needed to do a project about WW2, and I thought it would be a good opportunity to pass on some family history.

We spent several days talking about my dad, Amiya Ranjan Biswas, who was a doctor in the army in WW2, and from whom I had heard some amazing stories stories as a child.

Together, we put together a powerpoint presentation, and Kiran found appropriate pricyures and information from the Internet to back up the story.

But I am very aware that this is all oral history, and many of the facts may not be accurate.

If there is anyone out there who can add to or correct any of the information in the story, I would be very grateful.

One day soon, I will write a bit more about myself. But that is all for now.

Krishna Datta
