Nottingham's St Ann's

As a campaigner Ray Gosling fought to have the terraces of St Ann's saved from the bulldozers. "There were some little bits we saved - there were some small victories. Now after all these years I'm proud that we fought - it was worth it," he says. Ray believed that with improved amenities these humble homes could have been made fit. "People didn't want to be pulled down and moved".
