BEHIND THE LIVERPOOL LENS
Here you can see a sample of Chambre Hardman's acclaimed photographs.

Washing Potatoes, St Remy
Image: Copyright The National Trust

Washing Potatoes, St Remy, 1926

Taken when Hardman visited Provence in France, this image shows two men, a woman and a small boy.

The boy is in the shadows, so as not to distract from the focus of the scene: The washing of potatoes.

We only see the face of one of the people in the photograph.
