Why is the video freezing on my Fire TV or Google device?

We're aware that some users are experiencing an issue when streaming on Fire TV, Google TV Streamer and Chromecast devices. The video is freezing while the audio continues. 

Google were able to include a fix in the OS update for their devices and Amazon have also included a fix in their latest OS update, which is currently being rolled out. Please keep checking the Settings/About page to ensure you have the latest OS on your Amazon Fire device.
