Boarding schools in France can cost around £9,000, compared to an average of double that here in Britain. ![]() The view from the school roof Cheap flights are opening up Europe to students from the south east. The school that Dan attends is just a traditional English public school that happens to be in the middle of a French town. Ipods are banned and the internet is frowned upon. Our reporter Simon Jones travelled with 15-year-old Dan Cansick, who lives near Canterbury, to his school in Chavagnes near Nantes to witness what has become a friendly English invasion.
