Meet your new Kent Blast Arts Reporter

Hello! My name is Megan Affonso and I am joining ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Kent as your Blast Arts Reporter this summer.

I have just turned 20, am a student at Loughborough University studying Drama with a minor in English, and am about to enter my third and final year, so this will hopefully help me do as good a job as possible when reporting the up and coming events in your region.

ÌýWhen I leave university, I hope to pursue a career in the Media industry, whether this be in TV, Radio, or even performance itself!

Interests and aims

My passions are Drama and Music, and I play the Piano, Cello, and the Guitar. Having said this, I’m also keen on Art and Dance, so I am very excited to be given the opportunity to go to such a wide range of events in Kent and to be able to report them to you.

Being half Korean, a quarter Dutch and a quarter Portuguese, I am especially interested in the different cultural events that Kent has to offer, and hope to share with you as many experiences that have been brought to Kent from around the world as possible, through photographs, interviews and videos.
