Spraying for a living

Ashford's Oliver Winconek earns his living from his art, but how does he create it?

Oliver has been exhibiting his works in galleries across the country, and is one of the few artists who makes a living from his art.

Watch as he takes us through the creation of one of his pieces:

Oliver has been commissioned to create works commentating on such social issues as post office closures and London's congestion charge. He uses bold colours, often with spray paints and stencils.

Unlike many artists using similar techniques, Oliver uses paper or cardboard to hand make his stencils, which means that many of his pieces cannot be duplicated once each stencil has been used.Ìý
