Blackburn/Darwen

Who plays what?

Scotty - Guitar/Vocals
Jonny - Bass/Vocals
Zolly - Drums

Anyone got any bad habits?

Zolly is rather keen on removing his shirt at gigs (hence the band name), Scotty is really poor at remembering lyrics, and Jonny has a habit of forgetting to take rather important bits of kit back from gigs. (i.e. his bass!)

What's the band's history so far?

Formed in late August 2005 after a rushed preparation for a gig at Darwen Gala. Decided we kinda worked well together so we should do it more often!

Style and influences?

As we only play covers that's a toughie, but Greenday, Jimi Hendrix ,The Jam, U2 and The Buzzcocks are general band favourites.

Best moment so far?

Playing the annual Vic day out in Darwen on 27/12/05. Brilliant atmosphere, packed to the rafters, and everyone loved us!

Worst/most embarrassing moment so far?

Nothing major as yet.

Anything else we should all know about?

Originally we were called CRASH! but very recently changed it to The Half Monty. A new website is in development. Also we are writing original material this year which we plan to record and release under a different name so keep yer eyes peeled!
