Adrian Taylor examined the evolution of the town back in 1997 for a special feature for ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio Lancashire. Gerald Jackson worked on a programme with Adrian in 1997 called "The New Lancastrians" and spoke to some of the people who arrived from Liverpool to start a new life and get to grips with the town's roundabout system.
