The
Leeds Museum Resource Centre in Yeadon has a number of dinosaur
exhibits in its collection, including a dinosaur egg.
The
egg is from the Hypselosaurus, a herbivore which lived during the
Late Cretaceous period (around 65 million years ago). It was up
to 12m long and weighed up to 10 tonnes.
The
centre also has some dinosaur footprints, from the Anchisurus and
the Plesiornis.
There
are even some fossilised dinosaur droppings in the collection!
