Children in Need is a good excuse - if one is needed - to stage
a pyjama party. Around 1400 students, dressed in night attire, will
celebrate at the Leeds Met party as part of 'Pudsey University'.

The
organiser of the big bash is Headingley-based Raine Davies who is
on an Event Management degree.
ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½
Leeds spoke to her after she had just finished three hours of flyering,
on the cold streets, in her pyjamas, carrying a teddy bear.
"It's a lot of work and the stress levels are rising as the
date gets nearer," admits Raine.
Not content with studying, and organising the biggest Children in
Need event in Leeds, Raine is a professional actress who appeared
in Emmerdale for six months.
And
she has just landed a part in the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ drama Holby City - but the
filming clashes with the pyjama bash and Raine will miss out on
the party.
"I'm gutted to be missing the party but friends have promised
to take lots of pictures to help me relive it.
The party hopes to raise in the region of £2000 plus donations
for Children in Need and Raine was busy finalising a supply of drinks
from sponsors.
A great excuse to get out around Leeds in your PJs.
