Leeds
will be confirming itself as the fashion capital of the north next
week, when Briggate is transformed into a massive catwalk for Fashion
Leeds 2004 on Thursday 6 May.
Three
fashion shows are being staged on Briggate at 3.30pm, 5.15pm and
6.30pm, featuring the latest summer 2004
looks from leading high street and designer stores in the city.
Budding
models may also get the chance to strut their stuff alongside the
professionals, with Fashion Leeds joining forces with
ICM Models, who represent many of the country's top models.
According
to ICM to be a potential model girls need to be between the ages
of 14 and 22, and between 5'7" and 6' tall. Boys
need to be between the ages of 16 and 25 and between 6' and 6'2"
tall

Foster, City Centre Manager, says: "This
event is a great opportunity to check out some of the key looks
for Summer 2004. Also we might find we have the next Christy Turlington
in our midst."
