The
Arts and Music Zone facilities will go on to be available
to the city's youngsters throughout the year.
Young
people bringing their City Council BreezeCards to the events
will get the chance to enter draws and competitions.
The
Breeze Card is free to anyone under the age of 19 and enables
discounts at all swimming, racket sports, sports camps and
many more activities, shops, restaurants and visitor attractions
around the city.
Apply
at Breeze on Tour, down load an online form from teh Breeze
website or pick up a leaflet from your local library or leisure
centre.

The
unique activities roadshow will offer a wide variety of free entertainment
in five major city parks for young people of all ages.
An
amazing range of activities, in seven themed zones, will be on offer
when Breeze On Tour visits Temple Newsam Park, Woodhouse Moor, Armley
Park, South Leeds Stadium and Roundhay Park for three days each,
from 28 July to 26 August.
Éù
Sports Zone boasts Leeds' biggest ever football skills roadshow,
centred around a vast array of inflatable sports challenge equipment,
which has been specially design to test everything from shooting
power and accuracy to goal keeping expertise.
Éù
Arts and Music Zone with two specially built mobile recording
studio trucks, which contain the latest equipment for both sound
and video recording. Young people can write, direct and star in
their own CDs and films, learning useful skills along the way. This
area also contains a giant graffiti art wall, craft activities,
rap, poetry and DJ sets.

Éù
Challenge Zone contains an amazing selection of inflatable
adventure games including a 35m obstacle course, the 10x10m Hangar
51 Laserquest Zone, a 6m climbing wall, a 'Gladiator' combat zone
and Flystick - the 3m high inflatable velcro wall.
Éù
Information Zone contains help, advice and information on
activities and organisations across the city and on the issues which
really matter to young people.
Éù
Urban Zone at Roundhay and Woodhouse Moor parks will highlight
skating and BMX. Professional tuition will be available for everyone
and competitions and jams will be held each day, encouraging young
people to travel across the city to join in the action.

Play Zone enables younger brothers and sisters to get involved
too with has professional play-workers, sand, stories and songs
to keep everyone happy.
Éù
Chill Out Zone - a large area for mums, dads and anyone in
need of re-fuelling offering food, drink, seating and serenity.
Finally,
Break for Fame will give the cityÂ’s young performers
the chance to show off their talents.
With
entries spanning everything from pop music and rap poetry to DJ
sets and dance, all types of performer are catered for. Heats will
take place at Breeze On Tour, as part of a 90 minute professional
stage show each day from 3pm.
Each
Breeze On Tour venue will produce an overall winner, who will go
on to the Break for Fame Grand Final on Thursday 26 August at Roundhay
Park.
