They
may be back in England but the journey hasn't eased with an 80 mile
stint through Kent. In driving rain the ride took 11 hours with
a finish at 6.50pm.
The
route was to take them to Docklands but was extended to central
London as a 7.20am slot on GMTV was booked. Both Jane and Luke were
exhausted on arrival with Jane in some considerable pain.
The
journey to central London had been hair-raising with the capital's
drivers being described by all the cyclists as the worst they had
come across. A couple of times they were nearly taken off their
bike as drivers were showing their impatience.
It's
a heavy media day for Jane tomorrow with five TV interviews booked
before 9am. A highlight of the day will be an arrival at the Sky
studios in West London as Jane will get to meet the presenters who
have been faceless to her for the last four weeks.
Jane
is still unwell with severe pain. With the ride's finish only six
days away she will need to dig deep to finish.
