Baby in a pram

Hughes Street

This is a pic of me in 1956.

It was taken in Hughes St (opposite the Grafton Ballroom), Liverpool 6.

The building in the background is Mill Rd Hospital and to the left, the Nurses ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½.

Does anyone recall Eva's shop on the corner of Hughes St/Mill Rd?
We gave her one of our puppies in the early 60s and she named it Ringo.

Also, the Eldorado ice cream factory in Hughes St?
We used to sneak in there and "borrow" a load of dry ice!

Charles Williamson used to work for Eldorado in the 50s.
