Liverpool's
Rawhide Comedy club is set to move to bigger premises. The club which
began in the foyer of the Everyman theatre in 1995 is to move to the
400 seat Central Hall venue on Mount Pleasant. Rawhide has been putting
on shows at both Baby Blue and The Cotton Club but will now manage
all aspects of the evening at Central Hall. The club is looking to
introduce new features such no smoking nights.
Rawhide's
owner Kevin Fearon says "Baby Blue has been a great venue for
us over the past three yeas but we have outgrown the room and the
prospect of bigger and better events at Central Hall is very exciting.
For the first time Rawhide will manage all aspects of the evening
including the food, drink and after show experience."
Central
Hall will provide full disabled access and seating for all, as well
as waitress service. The first shows in the new venue will be on
the weekend of 7th and 8th May.
