Year 8 students in Barking and Dagenham and Bexley have been working very hard over the last few months as they take part in the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ News School Report. Using lesson plans and materials from the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ News School Report website, and with support from ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ staff, teachers help students develop their journalistic skills and become School Reporters. ![]() Girls from St Catherines school Around one hundred schools across the country will take part in ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ News School Report Day - creating news reports and publishing or broadcasting them on their school website. Pupils at Barking Abbey opted to report their news in as a TV bulletin while the girls from St. Catherines in Bexley chose to present their news report on radio and were kindly allowed to present a live bulletin on their local community radio station, TGR.
