News and InterviewsYou are in: Manchester > Entertainment > Music > News and Interviews > A Love Hate relationship ![]() Nine Black Alps A Love Hate relationshipNine Black Alps are preparing for the release of their second album, Love/Hate, by asking their fans to vent their spleens and sing their praises on a website dedicated to their personal loves and hates. In a statement, the band explain that the site is "a think tank of emotion pooled from every corner of the planet", before going on to request submissions. The site also includes a list of the band’s own loves and hates, which include some unexpected items. It seems that the four-piece are in favour of charity shop vinyl records, unexpected postcards, Gustav Klimt, Marmite, a good night’s sleep and Stephen Fry’s QI, while such things as watery soup, going down on escalators, Hard-Fi, Madchester, choreography and tight jeans really get their goat. The ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ is not responsible for the content of external websites Away from the cyber world, they will be supporting the release of the album on Monday 22 October, with a tour of the country with The Bees in October and Black Rebel Motorcycle Club in November. Before they hit the road, though, they’ll be celebrating their second opus with a hometown show at Academy 3 on Monday 8 October (which also happens to be when new single, Bitter End, comes out too). Tickets are £8. last updated: 11/09/07 SEE ALSOYou are in: Manchester > Entertainment > Music > News and Interviews > A Love Hate relationship [an error occurred while processing this directive] all the music on the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ |
