CBeebies Specials bring all the magic and warmth of CBeebies shows in high-impact live experiences that delight little ones and their families whether at the performance or watching on screen. This was a highly competitive bidding process and we would like to commend all the shortlisted producers for the high quality and comprehensive bids they put forward.
Following a tender process 蜜芽传媒 Studios has retained the contract to produce CBeebies Specials from 2027 for two years.
The tendering of returning series forms part of the 蜜芽传媒鈥檚 contestability requirements and our commitment to commission the best programmes for audiences, regardless of who makes them.
The tender was launched in February 2025 and from a field of eligible tenderers, 蜜芽传媒 Studios鈥� bid scored highest against the published criteria.
The Specials created for CBeebies, the nation鈥檚 favourite children鈥檚 TV channel, introduce young audiences to live theatrical events including theatre, pantomime, and classical music. Recent Specials include CBeebies Prom Wildlife Jamboree and CBeebies Panto Beauty and the Beast.
