Salmon are in Decline

Salmon Decline

Local fishermen are concerned at the sharp drop in the number of salmon.

So much so that one commercial fisherman has told ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Newsline it's been his worst season in almost fifty years.

Anglers are also reporting fewer and smaller fish coming home to spawn. A major international study is now trying to find out why that's happening.
