Future of Foyle Ferry

The days of the Londonderry to Donegal service could be numbered.

Over the past seven years, the Foyle Ferry has carried almost two million passengers between Magilligan and Greencastle.

The service is seen as vital to those involved in the promotion of tourism in the North-West.

However, the Foyle Ferry has experienced financial difficulties in recent years and its future is due to be discussed in the Assembly tomorrow.
