Funeral of plane crash victim Stephen Annett

Plane crash funerals

The funerals of three men killed when a light aircraft crashed near Kilkeel last Friday have taken place in south Down.

54-year-old old Hugh McKnight piloted the plane which was returning from the Isle of Man.Ìý

Also on board were his passengers Stephen Annett and Andrew Burden. All three were from the nearby Annalong area.

The first of today's funeral services was for Stephen Annett.Ìý Our County Down reporter Francis Gorman was there.

Hugh McKnight, who was a former police officer and Andrew Burden, a talented young footballer, were laid to rest this afternoon.Ìý Conor Macauley reports.
